Science of Love
like amoeba floating in a petri dish.
love forms and blends
judgments, assumptions.
potential love, examined minutely.
electron microscope to eye
mutations? betrayal?
furies split and divide
some voracious, set on multiplying
and overtaking
some like t-cells, fighting valiantly
to preserve
divide, replicate
bask in discovery
despair over failed experiments
diligently we record our criteria
for future trials.
